The Widgets feature allows you to embed your Enquete survey directly onto your website as a floating, interactive tab. When visitors click the tab, the survey opens on the page so they can complete it without leaving your website.

This is ideal if you want to collect customer feedback, run satisfaction surveys, capture leads, or engage visitors while they browse your site. You can position the widget on different sides of your website and customize it to match your branding.

Before you begin
  • You must have completed and saved your survey.
  • You must have access to your website or its source code to embed the widget.
  • Your survey must be ready for public distribution.

Step 1: Open Your Survey and Go to Distribution

From the Overview page, select the survey you want to distribute. At the top of the main section, click Distribute. This takes you to the Distribution page where all available distribution channels are displayed.

Step 2: Navigate to Website Distribution

On the Distribution page, locate On your webpage and click Get Code. This opens the web distribution panel, where you can configure how your survey will appear on your website.

Step 3: Select Widgets

The web distribution panel opens under the Widgets section by default. This is where you customize how your survey will appear as a floating tab on your webpage.

Step 4: Customize Your Widget

In the Widgets section, you can adjust how your widget looks and behaves before generating the code.

Position

To change where the widget appears, click the Widget Position dropdown and choose left side, right side, or bottom. This determines where the tab will be displayed on your webpage. As you make changes, observe as the live preview below updates automatically so you can see exactly how the widget will look.

Tab Color

To change the tab color, click Tab Color and choose a color from the palette or enter a specific color code. This helps you match the widget to your website branding. As you make changes, observe as the live preview below updates automatically so you can see exactly how the widget will look.

Tab Text

To edit the tab text, click inside the text field and enter the message you want visitors to see. For example, you might use “Take Survey” or “Give Feedback.” As you make changes, observe as the live preview below updates automatically so you can see exactly how the widget will look.

At the bottom of the panel, you’ll see the Security and Tracking section, where you can adjust additional settings before generating the code.

Step 5: Generate the Widget Code

Once you’re happy with your settings, click Save and Generate Code in the bottom right corner. A pop-up titled Widget Code Generated will appear. This pop-up contains the JavaScript code you need to embed the widget on your website.

Step 6: Copy and Embed the Code

Click Copy Code. The button will change to Copied, confirming the code has been successfully copied to your clipboard.

Once you’ve copied the code, click Done to close the pop-up.

Now paste this code into your website’s source code, typically just before the closing </body> tag.

After embedding the code and publishing your website, your widget will appear in the position you selected. It will display your chosen tab text and color. Visitors can click the tab to open and complete your survey without leaving your website.
