Schedule your 15-minute demo now

The Pop-Up Window feature allows you to display your survey as a timed pop-up on your website. Instead of appearing as a floating tab (Widget) or being embedded directly into your page content (iFrame), the survey opens automatically after a visitor has spent a specific amount of time on your webpage.

This option is ideal if you want to:

  • Capture attention after visitors engage with your content

  • Trigger surveys based on time spent on the page

  • Re-engage returning visitors

  • Increase response rates without permanently embedding the survey in your layout

You can control when the pop-up appears and how often it shows again.

Before you begin
  • You should have completed and saved your survey.
  • You must have access to your website's source code to embed the pop-up script.
  • Your survey should be ready for public distribution.

Step 1: Open Your Survey and Go to Distribution

From the Overview page, select the survey you want to distribute. At the top of the menu section, click Distribute. This opens the Distribution page where all available distribution channels are displayed.

Step 2: Navigate to Website Distribution

On the Distribution page, locate On your webpage and click Get Code. This opens the survey web distribution panel.

Select Pop-Up Window from the available options.

Step 3: Configure the Pop-Up Timing

In the Pop-Up configuration section, you can control when and how often your survey appears.

To delay the pop-up, click on Delay before pop-up and enter the number of seconds you want visitors to spend on your page before the survey appears. For example, if you enter 10 seconds, the pop-up will appear after the visitor has been on the page for 10 seconds.

You can also configure how often the pop-up should appear again. For example, you may choose to show it again after a certain number of days or seconds. This prevents the survey from appearing too frequently and improves the user experience.

Adjust these settings according to your engagement strategy.

Step 4: Generate the Pop-Up Code

Once you’re satisfied with your timing configuration, click Save and Generate Code. A pop-up window will appear containing your generated pop-up script.

This code controls when and how your survey appears on your website.

Step 5: Copy and Embed the Code

Click Copy Code. The button will change to Copied, confirming that the code has been successfully copied.

Click Done to close the pop-up.

Now paste the copied code into your website’s source code, typically before the closing </body> tag. After saving and publishing your page, the survey pop-up will appear according to the delay time you configured.

Once the code is embedded and your website is published, your survey will automatically appear as a pop-up after the time you set. If you configured repeat timing, it will reappear according to those settings.

Visitors can complete the survey directly from the pop-up without leaving your website.
